Wednesday May 5th Day 3 Modena-Maranello-Portofino-Monaco

Day 3 started with a visit to the superb Ferrari Museum in Maranello. Rabbit-Runners browsed at the Formula One engines from the Seventies to present-day along with the stunning Ferrari Enzo.

On leaving the Ferrari Museum it was off for lunch at the scheduled stop of Portofino some 150 miles down the twisting Italian coast roads. No timing was carried out on this day as Rabbit-Runners travelled in convoy.

The finest fare now consumed, it was off for the 2-hour stint where close driving was thoroughly enjoyed. The two M3 cabs in particular had a massive battle and even though Paul and Justin (mad bastards) in the Black M3 were quicker around the bends than Gids and Craig (sensible chaps) in the Grey M3, we can confirm that SMG is quicker than a manual box.

Rabbit-Runners then arrived at Monaco and the luxurious surroundings of the Hotel Columbus. Rabbit-Runners enjoyed the evening meal at the Hotel Columbus before a night at Casino Square for a little flutter (or not so little in the case of Richie and John)!
