Monday 23rd April 2007

Monday morning saw most of us in a huge convoy heading north for the Eurostar.

Halfway back we all stopped for a required fuel stop, the trip range on the AMV8 had registered 0 miles of fuel for the past 10 miles so relief was not the word!

The last 80 miles to the train were awesome and the sound of all the cars zipping through tunnels was superb. We all boarded the train and upon arriving at Dover went our separate ways.

That Monday night at home I began to reflect on the weekend as I am sure many of you did, and it felt like we had been away for about a week, not just a long weekend. In the blink-of-an-eye another Rabbit Run event had been and gone and I have to say that I had a brilliant time.

Thanks you and well done to all who took part. We really enjoyed your company.

I would also like to take this opportunity in thanking you all for how you drove. We were all in powerful cars, but I can’t thank you all enough for your mature driving. At the time of writing this, another car-related event has been going through a difficult time.

We must make sure that the Rabbit Run event stays true to its origins. An annual tour, exploring Europe and visiting interesting destinations. We set the stage and the rest is down to you guy’s, THANK YOU!

The final word goes to our sponsors, Lee and Joachim (Aston Martin Vanquish) thank you so much for your support and for being a great part of the event. To see what they are all about please click on the Soho Club's and Bars link below.

See you all at the reunion (if not before), and we are already looking forward to Rabbit Run 2008!

Regards

Craig, Jon, Gary and all the Rabbit Run crew
